Get in control over your motivation to lose weight

It happens every time you get dressed especially if you are going to a party or some place you want to look absolutely your best.

You look at the mirror and see your self… and you are not happy.

You raise your arms, jiggle them and watch, in dismay, the fat dancing in your triceps. Turning your back at the mirror, you stretch your neck to look at your big butt and thighs. All you could do is heave a sigh. And let’s not even start with your belly.

Women, you all know the drill. The mirror is often the bringer of bad news. That bad news is about you, getting fat. However, this mirror-checking routine is a double-edged sword. You get disappointed but at least, it motivates you to do something about your weight. After that frustrating examination, you are fired-up to go on a diet and work out for a better body.

That’s good but it can get better.

The problem with people nowadays is the bad habit of waiting for things to get screwed up before taking any action. Why wait to get fat and disappointed before deciding to live a healthy lifestyle? If you are only motivated when you feel disappointed, then prepare for a lot of disappointments.

Motivation should be a conscious decision. It should not be a reactive response. You can get your self motivated to eat healthy and exercise even without the stimulus of looking fat. Yes, it is doable, has been done before, and many is doing it right now. The difference between constantly fit people and people who continue struggle with their weight is MOTIVATION.

People with amazingly stunning bodies are always motivated. They don’t wait to get fat. They don’t have time for that. They just know that they have to exercise and get the best nutrition they can. Training the body is also training the mind when it comes to getting fit. And fit people have made a habit out of it. The drive to get in shape is second nature to them.

You can do that as well. It is all in your mind and you, as the owner, can control or at least influence the way you think. Trick your mind into the state of inspiration and motivation. Devise motivational techniques to implement in your program. Ultimately, it will become a habit and you do not have to wait for some fat to materialize and feel bad.
